Moving Type Compost Turner

The Moving type compost turner, also known as the self-propelled turner or pile turner, is mainly used for regular turning of strips of organic compost. Through sufficient stirring, the high-temperature and low-temperature parts of the compost pile are fully mixed, and sufficient air is introduced to increase the oxygen content in the compost pile and take away excess moisture.

Diverse Types of Moving Type Compost Turner

The Moving type compost turner adopts a four-wheel walking design, which can move forward, backward, and turn, and can be controlled and driven by one person. While driving, the entire vehicle rides on long strips of fertilizer base that have been stacked in advance. The rotating cutter shaft mounted under the frame mixes, fluffs, and moves the fertilizer base raw materials. After the vehicle passes by, new strips are formed. Shaped stack. This machine can be used in open outdoor areas or in workshop greenhouses.

Working Principle of Moving Type Compost Turner

The walking type turner is a compost turning equipment with both a compost turning device and a walking mechanism. Its four-wheel design, powered by a diesel engine, allows forward, reverse, and turning movements. Controlled by a steering wheel-type mobile interface, it features anti-skid tires and is operated by a single person.

During operation, the vehicle moves on a pre-stacked fertilizer base. The turning device, regulated by the accelerator pedal, stirs and mixes raw materials with rotating teeth mounted under the frame. This process fluffs the material, moves the pile, and forms a new strip pile.

In summary, the walking type turner efficiently combines compost turning and mobility, offering user-friendly control for effective composting operations.

Structure of Moving Type Compost Turner

Traveling system

Walking turners are usually equipped with wheels or tracks to enable them to move freely within the work area. The design of the walking system enables the machine to move to different working positions quickly and flexibly.

Grab device

Walking tippers are usually equipped with a grab device for grabbing, lifting and carrying materials. A grapple is a bucket-like device that effectively captures bulk materials.

Lifting system

Once the material is captured by the grab, the lifting system will lift the material to the appropriate height. This typically involves the use of hydraulic or electromechanical systems to lift the grapple and its load.

Turning mechanism

The turning mechanism is a component used to turn materials in the air. This may include a robotic arm or other mechanical structure that causes the material to undergo a certain tossing motion in the air.
