A leading agricultural company in Brazil wanted to build a new organic fertilizer production plant to utilize organic waste from its farms and improve sustainability. The plant needed to process diverse materials, including animal manure, crop residues, and organic kitchen waste, while producing high-quality organic fertilizer. We designed and installed a custom production line to meet these requirements, with a capacity of 2,500 tons per year.
Project Overview:
- Processed materials: Animal manure (cattle, poultry), crop residues (sugarcane, soybeans), organic kitchen waste
- Feed size: 5-15 mm
- Location: Brazil
- Production capacity: 2,500 tons/year
- Finished product specifications: Pellet diameter 2-5 mm
Equipment Details:
The production line includes a range of specialized equipment to handle the various raw materials. It starts with a solid-liquid separator to reduce moisture content in animal manure, followed by a composting system for organic waste fermentation. A double-shaft mixer ensures uniform mixing of all materials. The line also has a rotary drum granulator for pellet formation, a high-efficiency dryer to control moisture levels, a cooler for temperature stabilization, a vibratory screener for size classification, and an automated packaging machine for final product preparation. An advanced control system oversees the entire process to maintain optimal efficiency and quality.
Project Results:
The new production line allows the client to convert a wide range of organic waste into marketable organic fertilizer, supporting their sustainability goals while providing a new revenue stream. The client can now meet the growing demand for organic fertilizer in Brazil and expand into new markets. Additionally, the plant has helped reduce waste accumulation and contributed to better environmental practices.
