Rotary Drum Dryer Working Principle

Downstream drying process: The material enters the inner layer of the rotary drum from the feeding device, travels along the spiral, and exchanges heat with the inner wall of the inner drum.

Countercurrent drying process: The material moves to the other end of the inner layer and enters the middle layer, where it is repeatedly lifted up to absorb the heat of the inner and middle drums and prolong the drying time.

Rectangular multi-loop drying process: The material travels to the other end of the middle layer and falls into the outer layer. It is dried in the outer drum. The material that has achieved the drying effect is quickly discharged, and the undried material continues to dry here.

Feeding and discharging

  • Feed port: Organic fertilizer enters the dryer through the feed port.
  • Discharge port: The dried organic fertilizer is discharged through the discharge port.

Main part

  • Rotating drum: It is the main part of the organic fertilizer dryer. The interior is composed of multiple turning plates, which can continuously turn the organic fertilizer over to achieve uniform heating.

Auxiliary equipment

  • Heater: Provides heat to heat the organic fertilizer inside the rotating drum.
  • Fan: blow hot air into the rotating drum to accelerate the drying speed of organic fertilizer.
